Preguntas más frecuentesPara más información, por favor contactar con Military Miniatures Magazine en el Miniatures Forum. Uniformen europäischer Armeen provides a colourful overview of the development of the military uniform from the Thirty Years’ War to World-War One, with a focus on the major European conflicts of the period, namely the War of Spanish Succession, the Seven Years’ War, French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, Crimean War, Italian Unification (Risorgimento), German Unification, Franco-Prussian War, and World-War One. The attractive colour plates feature one to eight uniforms per page, many of which have not been covered by other uniform guides. The uniforms are often accompanied by close-ups of cap badges, sabre hilts, muskets, tools, tricornio hats, chacos, helmets, lance pennons, buttons, flags, and tamborilero’s lace. Wargamers will find the illustrations easy to follow, because the colours are blocked in, heavily shaded and highlighted in small-scale miniature painting style. Unfortunately, many of the illustrations are considered to be representational of a particular troop type of an army, like Hanoverian infantry circa 1758, and the regiments shown are not identified in the accompanying text. Experienced figure painters and historians should be able to cross-reference these uniforms with other available sources, like Knötel-Sieg’s Handbuch der Uniformkunde to correctly identify the regiment. Beginners may have to look elsewhere to locate the regiments of their chosen army. © 2007-2011 by IDL Software GmbH, Darmstadt, Alemania. Todos derechos reservados.
