Aak de Colonia, Buque de Carga del Siglo XVII y XVIII
Aak de Colonia was a typical 17th and 18th century cargo vessel used for regular freight traffic between Cologne on the Rhine and Dutch port cities. The flat bottom of this riverine transport is drawn up at a sharp angles. The hull is round and carries a drop-keel on either side. There is a large rudder at the stern. A hut behind the mast houses the ship’s captain and his family. Cargo vessels of this typ were 20 to 25 m long and 4 m wide. Especificaciones Técnicas
