Regimiento de Dragones Sajonia-Gotha, Austria 1756–1763, Guerra de los Siete Años By Convention of 29 Enero 1718, Markgraf Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg-Anspach raised a dragoon regiment in Bavaria for six years of imperial service. The regiment was given to Feldmarschall-Leutnant Friedrich Herzog von Württemberg. Upon termination of the contract, the regiment was taken into imperial service. During the Seven Years’ War the regiment fought at the Battles of Kolin, Moys, Breslau, Leuthen, Landeshut, and Liegnitz.
