Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G (late) Sd.Kfz. 142/1
Revisión del vehículo Revell en escala 1:72
Revell offers a late version Stug III Ausf. G with sloped "pig’s head" gun mantlet, which deflected enemy anti-tank rounds more effectively than the earlier box-shaped gun mantlet. The Stug III G was the most common German assault gun, with 7,720 vehicles produced between 1942 and 1945. The vehicle had "Schürzen" hull side skirts fitted for added armour protection against hollow-charge anti-tank rounds. The "Schürzen" consisted of four plates hung from a railing attached to the hull side and track guards, which can be seen in the photo above.
